My engraving is uneven.

Try to adjust the distance between the engraver and your object according to the illustration below, where the dark and light areas reflect your engraving results. 

 

My engraver won’t connect to the app.

If your engraver has a flashing blue light, it’s standing by for connection. If you use an Android phone, enable GPS so the app can search nearby Bluetooth devices.

If your engraver has a flashing green or yellow light after powering on, it’s faulty. Contact the seller to arrange a replacement.

My stand moves up and down randomly by itself!

Don’t worry. It’s because the AC socket you used was not properly earthed/grounded, so there were some interferences that caused this.

Just use a different AC socket (on the wall, not on the same extension board).

My laser is off-centre. Does it need fixing?

The preview box and the centre point look off-centre especially when you have the orange cone installed as a reference.

This is by design. If you look at the underside of the LP2 (not when the laser is on!), you will see that the laser window is off-centre, but the cone is aligned with the body of the engraver for a symmetrical look.

So long as the 10x10cm preview square is not hitting the cone, then all is fine.
