Factory Rest LP3 Firmware

If your LP3 has a flashing green/red light on boot, normally after a failed firmware update, try one of the two methods below to factory reset the firmware:

Method A

  1. Unplug the power
  2. Hold both the preview and play buttons (there are only two touch buttons on the top of LP3)
  3. Plug in the power while holding the two buttons till the red light comes on and off
  4. Release the buttons.
  5. The LP3 reboots itself and a blue light starts to flash slowly.
  6. Do another power cycle just in case. And finally, connect your LP3 to the LP app.

Method B

  1. Unplug the power
  2. Hold only the play button on the top of LP3
  3. Plug in the power while holding the play buttons till the red light comes on and off.
  4. Release the button.
  5. The LP3 reboots itself and a blue light starts to flash slowly.
  6. Do another power cycle just in case. And finally, connect your LP3 to the LP app.
