LP1 and LP1 Pro are of the same size & design, with some minor differences as shown below. Therefore both will fit onto the automatic stand.

* Can be improved with an easy modification, but the engraving range will reduce as a trade-off. Read this post.
Speed Comparison
Due to LP1 Pro’s increased precision, it takes up to four times long to engrave the same amount of pixels. I have tested depth settings at 5% increments and have produced the graph below. It shows how much time an LP1 Pro takes compared to an LP1.
Some quick numbers to note:
- at up to 75% depth, LP1 Pro performs very similarly to LP1.
- at 80-85% depth, LP1 Pro takes about 1.5 times long compared to LP1.
- at 90% depth, LP1 Pro takes about 2 times long compared to LP1.
- at 95% depth, LP1 Pro takes about 2.5 times long compared to LP1.
- at 100% depth, LP1 Pro takes about 4 times long compared to LP1.
