WOBBLY HEAD FIX!!!

Ref: Mario Brussi’s original post on Facebook

Some LP4 users have reported that the main unit is wobbly on the stand even though the thumb screws are fully fastened. Below is the “fix” quoted from Mario’s FB post:

Hy everyone, finally laserpecker have sent me the "instruction" to fix the wobbly head! There's no need to replace any piece at all!

First, you have to unscrew the head support totally

Then, translated from Chinese, you have to "pull with force" the knob (attention, you have to pull with force means YOU HAVE TO PULL WITH SO MUCH FORCE YOU THINK YOU BREAK IT, i was a little shocked that that was the way...but it worked so...)

Then, take out the metal sheet cover for the dust (easy to put in place again don't worry), to take it out, unscrew the z axys from the base plate, so you can take out the tensioning from the dust cover, this is a suggestion then you can do as you want

Once removed, just tight the "X" screws, remount everything and YOUR HEAD WILL BE STABLE AS A ROCK!!!

P.s. i wanted to make a video but i was in a hurry so be happy with this description 🙂

P.p.s. it's a really easy and fast fix, but i already see people complaining like "i shouldnt unmount my 1500 laser by myself etc", if you have unmounted any eletronics in your life this is gonna take 1 minutes and half, if you're scared of a screwdriver call a friend who knows hot to unscrew things and it will be done fast

Maybe we should get a promo code or some kind of discount, but trust me no need to send back anything!
